About the Unit

The Quality Management Unit coordinates the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of quality activities of the University. It liaises with other University units to accomplish unit tasks related to quality assurance. It develops and oversees training activities related to quality assurance (internal and external) and develops and presents educational information on quality assurance. The unit also monitors and reports on quality improvement activities and conducts quality audits.

Our Services

  • Creating and maintaining a culture of continuous quality improvement.
  • Creating an overall quality vision and leading the efforts to promoting quality achievements and performance improvement throughout the University.
  • Participating in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of quality initiatives and activities of the University. This includes leading the planning, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of quality systems, policies and processes for the University as a whole as well as for individual units.
  • Conducting training programs related to quality assurance (internal and external) to communicate educational information about sound quality practices to all faculty, staff and students of Effat University.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of quality-related training for faculty and staff.
  • Liaising with other University units to accomplish unit tasks related to quality assurance.
  • Participating in planning, monitoring and giving feedback on mechanisms for reporting on quality activities, such as semester activity and quality report, quality standard reports, board report, projects' proposals, budgets, meeting minutes, etc.
  • Assisting with monitoring and reporting on quality improvement activities by conducting regular quality audits.
  • Recommending corrective actions to the management for continuous quality improvement.
  • Participating in the University Council to contribute to the University’s executive decision-making in relation to quality assurance.
