Effat University Tuition and Fees


Regular Students

Tuition is assessed on a per credit-hour basis. Student tuition is assessed each semester on the basis of the student's Major and the number of credits registered.
The By-laws for Undergraduate Study and Examination and Implementation Rules for Effat University  stipulate that the total credit hours per semester should be between 12 and 21 hours.

Tuition Fees

General Education Program (GEP) requirements for all programs are 42 hours at a rate of the 2100 SR per credit hour.

Payment Policy

Effat University Students
  • Students are required to pay their full tuition and fees upon registration or a payment plan is available.
  • Students are required to check the Academic Calendar for payment deadlines
  • In case the student chooses to pay in instalments; she should follow the suggested payment plan below.
  • The student is required to consult management of finance for further details

  • Students are considered officially registered when all financial obligations are met or specific arrangements (e.g. Instalment plan) have been planned and approved by Management of Finance.
  • Late registration fees of SR 500 will be applied on college students who did not register by the end of Add/Drop period.
Important Notification
Effat University reserves the right to withhold student services including Blackboard and Banner access from students who do not complete their due payment as per their payment plan or if account is delinquent status.
Effat University cannot waive tuition or fees for students who register on Banner and fail to attend their classes, or stop for any reason. Students are required to make their payment in full according the payment plan specified in the academic calendar.

Refund Policy

  • There is no refund for withdrawal from individual courses.
  • In the event that a student withdraws completely from the university, the following refund schedule will be applied:

After the 8th week of the semester
