Effat University Registrar’s Office supports teaching and learning at Effat by maintaining the integrity of academic policies and the student information system.

The Registrar’s Office is located in the Student Hall, next to the Admissions & Registration Office.

Registration

Registration is a process that includes academic advising with a faculty or staff member, registering for classes on the World Wide Web, and paying a tuition and fee bill.

Grades and Symbols

Campus offices use a standard set of grades and grading symbols to mark a student’s progress at the college.

A 90 – less than 95 3.75 Excellent
B+ 85 - less than 90 3.50 Superior
B 80 - less than 85 3.00 Very Good
C+ 75 - less than 80 2.50 Above Average
C 70 - less than 75 2.00 Good
D+ 65 - less than 70 1.50 High-Pass
D 60 - less than 65 1.00 Pass
F less than 60 0.00 Fail
IP - - In-Progress
IC - - In-Complete
DN - 0.00 Denial
NP 60 and above - No grade Pass
NF less than 60 - No grade Fail
W - - Withdrawn
WP - - Withdrawn with Pass
WF - 0.00 Withdrawn with Fail
AU - - Audit

Graduation

Checking your degree progress
Check your progress on specific degree requirements, plot future classes against a degree, and find help with advising. When your records change, run a new check.

Graduating
If you’re graduating, take part in commencement at the end of spring by filling in a Graduation Form before the mid term exams of your last term at the College. Summer and Fall graduates may attend commencement the following spring, for details, check with your advisor at the start of your last semester.

Transcripts

Official and Unofficial Transcripts
A transcript is a comprehensive record of your academic progress, including transfer courses.

Your name appears on your transcript as it appears on your College record. Official transcripts include the College seal and the signature of the registrar.

Student academic records are classified as confidential and may be released only with the student's written authorization and signature.

Unofficial transcripts
An unofficial transcript lists all of a student's coursework but does not include the College seal, the signature of the registrar, or the name of the College

How to Order a Transcript
Transcripts may be order in person at the Admissions & Registration Office by filling in the Student Disclosure Form. The cost is SR 25 per transcript.
