Dr. Haitham S. Hussein is an Assistant Professor at Effat University, Saudi Arabia since Spring 2016. He graduated from Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University in 1995. Then, he was awarded his first Master degree in architectural engineering from the same University in 2001, and his second Master of Economics and Valorization of Cultural Heritage from Catania University, Italy in 2008. He received his Ph.D. degree at Cairo University in 2008 in Assessing Urban Conservation and Revitalization Programs in Heritage Sites. He has more than 20 years of academic and practical experience. He participated in teaching and assisted in the delivery of academic courses for undergraduates and postgraduates in different architectural programs. His research interest focuses on urban and heritage conservation. He participated in several research papers in local and International Conferences. He supervised postgraduate studies at Master and Ph.D. levels. He designed and supervised several architectural projects.
