10/10 is a social initiative launched by Effat University in collaboration with Marfad Foundation for Social Development, which focuses on the safety and security of the individual while driving through awareness and education of the information and procedures of the driving world, as well as providing a quick, easy and flexible way to report on emergencies that an individual may face while driving, and in raising the speed of response by individuals and related parties.
This initiative stems from Effat University's interest in and participation in the 2030 Vision and the new developments, which are concerned with supporting women, developing them, facilitating their lives and enhancing their role in society as an essential and effective half.
The ceremony started with a word by Dr. Haifa Reda Jamal Al Lail , President of Effat University, in which she said: "Everyone is aware of the vision and mission of Queen Effat Al-Thunayan Al-Saud (may Allah rest her soul) in building our country, which stems from the roots of the originality of the constants and the vitality of the renewal that encourages leaders from both genders, in faith of men and women's roles in elevating the country to reach its best potentials". She also added, "Effat University has just celebrated this social occasion and recorded it in the historical record of Saudi women's leadership in the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
It is worth mentioning that the website and application are a unified portal with detailed and accurate information related to the world of driving, including the best apps from the experiences of the former to produce a conscious and continuous individual. It also aims to focus on the safety and security of the individual (man or woman) while driving through awareness and education of the information and procedures of the driving world, as well as providing a quick, easy and flexible way to report on emergencies that an individual may experience while driving to help speed up response by Individuals and related entities.
The ceremony continued with speeches from related members of the world of driving, such as Dr. Mona Othman Ibrahim Al-Breikan, Director of the Women's Driving School at King Abdulaziz University, as well as a speech was given by the Director of Marfad Foundation for Social Development, Ms. Ohoud Tarabzouni.
The ceremony was attended by a number of women from the Jeddah community, who had the opportunity to drive in the first hours allowed, and each of them expressed their feeling and experience of driving the first time in Saudi Arabia.
The ceremony was concluded with the inauguration of the website by Her Royal Highness Princess Lolowah Al Faisal.
