Payment Methods
All students are required to pay full tuition fees for a course 1 month prior to start date.

Financial Support Documentation:
Financial support documentation must include:
- Date of issuance (no earlier than 3 months before the start of your intended first term at Effat University).
- Student’s name (or account holder’s name if sponsor is someone other than student).
- Official letterhead and must include signature/stamp of an administrative official.
- Final available balance of individual liquid accounts.
- Certified, professional translations for all financial documents not issued in English.
In addition to completing the student certification of finance for international students must fill
international student financial guarantee form.
Types of Financial Support that Financially Accepted:
- Savings deposit and checking accounts.
- Bank letters or Solvency certificate from bank - Time/fixed/term deposits or government bonds available for withdrawal at any time.
Tuition cancellation and refund policy:
Cancellation by the University:
Student will be eligible for full refund of the tuition fees, refunds will be processed within four weeks, all refunds will be made to original beneficiary from which the funds were paid. a proof of payment must be submitted to the Student Financial services unit.
Cancellation by the Student:
Student is eligible for 50% of the tuition fee if the cancelation request is made in 1 month prior to the course starting date.
Cancellation due to the visa application:
If the student visa application is rejected:
Deferral to Later Session
If the student arrives and wishes to defer to a later session, this is treated as a failure to attend the course they have been accepted for. The tuition fee will be forfeited and treated as a withdrawal. The student will then need to apply again for the later program and pay a new tuition fee for the course.
If the student has not yet arrived and notifies the University that he/she wish to defer to a later session, the tuition fee may be carried forward for one year. Should the student choose to defer for a second year the deposit will be forfeited and treated as a withdrawal. The student will then need to apply again for the later program and pay a new tuition fee.
It is the student's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the financial regulations of the university. This includes payment of fees and schedule of fees.
Payment of Rrefunds
The refund request should be submitted with the following documents: International Bank account information IBAN, Bank SWIFT code, copy of passport.
The refund request will be processed within four weeks from the date of its submission.
Approved refund request will be paid in Saudi Riyal to the bank account of the authorized beneficiary, this should be the same bank account from which the funds were originate.
The University will not compensate the payer of the fees for any exchange rate differences or funds transfer cost.
