A seasoned academic with decades of teaching and research experience in South Asia, Middle East, and the USA, Dr. Tabassum Rashid is currently an Associate Professor and Chair of Department of Psychology at Effat University. She is a gold medal winner at the graduate level for academic accomplishments, recipient of excellence in teaching award and Queen Effat community services award. Dr. Rashid has diverse management and leadership experience as head of department and board member of international professional organizations, academic program developer, international conference organizer, scientific journals editorial review board member, and the program advisory member of prestigious university. She has presented lectures, invited expert sessions, interactive workshops, and conference research papers globally.
She has supervised numerous PhD theses and undergraduate senior research projects.
