TOEFL Internet-Based (iBT)

Effat University is following health and safety guidance and regulations for COVID- 19 issued by the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education.
As a result, please be informed that it is mandatory to show your Tawakalna App Barcode to the security ladies in the Main Gates and before you enter the university every day.If you failed to show the Barcode, you will not be allowed inside campus.

​​​Effat University is an authorized iBT TOEFL testing center (Center No. STN11165A)

What Is the TOEFL iBT Test?

The TOEFL iBT test measures your ability to use and understand English at the university level. It evaluates how well you can combine your reading, listening, speaking and writing skills to perform academic tasks.  It is internationally accepted for University admission.

Registration and payment are done via ETS's main website at www.ets.org/toefl (choose Effat University as your examination venue).

On the Test Day

  • Examinees should bring a valid, photo bearing ID such as: Passport, Saudi National ID, or Iqama, and Driver's License
  • Examinees should bring their Registration Form
  • Examinees should be on campus at 9:00am and enter from Gate 6.
  • The Test starts at 10:00 AM and it takes up to 4hrs to be completed

  • There is a mandatory 10min break in between the sections

Personal Belongings

Personal items other than your ID document(s) are not allowed in the testing room. Any items you choose to bring to the test center may be inspected and/or confiscated.
