Visa Residency Process And Requirement

​​Before Arrival

1. Once all the required documents are received of the desired program, the student will receive a Finance Guarantee Letter, which states a breakdown of one semester tuition accommodation and services.
2. Once the payment is received, Effat Government Affairs Office will raise the student visa request to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
3. Once Effat receives the approval of the visa from the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affair, Effat will send a copy of the approval to the student.
4. The visa approval requires a minimum of six months in order to be issued.
5. In order to issue the visa, the approval letter and the passport are required by the Saudi Embassy at the student's home country.
6. Once the student complete the program the Government office will issue a final exit to the student.

Upon Arrival

1. One the visa is issued by the Saudi Authorities, the student is expected to send the flight information to the International Office to make the necessary arrangements for pick up from King Abdul-Aziz Airport to Effat Residence.

After Arrival

1. Students are required to complete a medical check-up for the Residency Card (Iqama).
2. The Residency Card is part of the student visa process and it's mandatory for any student who are under the sponsorship of Effat University.
3. Health Insurance is required for the Residency Card and for health emergencies.

Health Insurance

1. Effat University has an agreement with the health insurance Company, Bupa. Bupa provides healthcare in 190 countries. Bupa is one of the oldest healthcare companies. The company is more than 70 years in the field. To lean more, please visit Bupa services.
2. Students will receive a Brozne level of Bupa health insurance.
3. $501 is the annel fee for the health insurance.
4. Bupa health insurance is mandatory in order to maintain the student's legal status and to save her in emergencies.
