Effat University Launches the 10th International Conference on Business & Finance: Humanizing Business and Finance: Pathways to Economic Prosperity

Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Lolowah Al-Faisal, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and General Supervisor of Effat University, the university proudly launched the 10th International Conference on Business and Finance under the theme, "Humanizing Business and Finance: Pathways to Economic Prosperity."
This global event brought together a distinguished group of experts and thought leaders in business and finance to discuss challenges and opportunities in the era of Industry 5.0, a transformative age merging human creativity with artificial intelligence.
The conference focused on striking a balance between technological advancements and human-centered values. It aimed to promote the design of human-centric businesses, workforce development, and the integration of clear standards for AI in the workplace to contribute to sustainable economic growth.
Dr. Sara Al-Zarqa, Dean of the College of Business at Effat University, welcomed attendees and emphasized the importance of embedding human values into business and finance, stating that economic progress is not solely measured by numbers but by its impact on people and communities. Dr. Sara stressed that businesses and finance must be guided by ethics and social responsibility.
The conference proudly welcomed the following distinguished keynote speakers:
- Mr. Hani Al-Ahdal, Vice President of HR centre of excellence at STC, who shared valuable insights into developing human capital.
- Dr. Rana Sabbah, Dean of the College of Business and Economics at Qatar University, who highlighted the importance of innovation in education and business.
The conference also featured an engaging panel discussion titled "Balancing Technological Advancements &Human Values to Achieve Vision 2030." This session was moderated by Dr. Sara Asailan, Chair of Operations and Supply Chain at Effat University, and included Ms. Hayfa Abu Zubayda, Chief Omnipreneurship Officer of People and Culture at Al-Dabbagh Group, alongside other prominent experts.
The event concluded with the honoring of keynote speakers and participants by Dr. Haifa Reda Jamal Al-Lail, President of Effat University, Dr. Mervat Shoman, and Dr. Sara Al-Zarqa.
