    On International Animation Day, “Long Way North” Is Telling the Story from the Unknowns of the North Pole 20 October 2020

    ​​Under the patronage of her Royal Highness Princess Lolowah AL Faisal, the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and General Supervisor of Effat University, and in the occasion of International Animation Day, the School of Cinematic Arts at Effat University, in partnership with the French Consulate in Jeddah and Markaz Cinema, celebrated the debut of the film “Long Way North” - 2017, which won several international awards.The film revels the story of a girl who strives to find her grandfather's lost ship in the unknowns of the North Pole. The film was followed by a talk between director Jasim Al-Saadi, actor Baraa Alem and Dr. Muhammad Sobeih. They discussed all the details in the film. This came in the presence of a number of students from the School of Cinematic Arts and the fans of animation in Jeddah, under strict health precautions.
