    Queen Effat Citizenship Award 2024-2025

    Honoring the Winners Under the Patronage of HRH Princess Lolowah Al-Faisal Dr. Haifa Reda Jamal AL-Lail, President of Effat University: “This award reflects our vision of empowering this generation to support Vision 2030 and preparing future leaders who contribute to building an advanced society.”

    ​​​October 3, 2024 –  Under the patronage of HRH Princess Lolowah Al-Faisal, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and General Supervisor of Effat University, and in the presence of HRH Princess Noura bint Turki Al-Faisal, Assistant to the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees, Effat University hosted a ceremony to honor the winners of the Queen Effat Citizenship Award. The event was attended by Sheikh Hussein Al-Benwi, Chairman and CEO of the Industrial Group, Dr. Taghreed, Director General of Education and Talent Development at the Museums Authority, as well as Dr. Haifa Jamal Al-Lail, President of Effat University, alongside the university's faculty, staff, students, and their parents.​

    The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran. Dr. Bayan Alshabani, Dean of Student Affairs, delivered a welcoming speech, sharing her enthusiasm for the attendance of all guests at this significant event.

    Dr. Taghreed Alsarraj, General Manager of Education and Talent Development Museum Commission, Ministry of Culture, took the stage as the keynote speaker. She emphasized the importance of enhancing education and skill development for students.

     Shaikh Hussain Al Banawi, the honored guest and sponsor of the Queen Effat Citizenship Award, expressed his pride in supporting educational initiatives that empower young people.

    Dr. Haifa Reda Jamal Al-Lail, President of Effat University, stated, “This award reflects our vision of empowering this generation to support Vision 2030 and preparing future leaders who contribute to building an advanced society."​

    Following the opening speeches, the award ceremony commenced, recognizing all nominees for the Queen Effat Citizenship Award from various colleges. The winners were announced, and the awards were presented. Winner Dena Shehadah shared her heartfelt gratitude, stating,  'Winning this award is not the end of a journey but the beginning of a new chapter, where I am even more committed to uplifting our university and its students.'

    The event concluded with a commemorative photo featuring the winners, capturing a spirit of pride and honor that embodies the ambitious aspirations and bright hopes for a promising future for everyone.

    It is noteworthy that this annual award, now in its 25th year at Effat University, aims to empower and encourage students to excel and recognizes their efforts and supporting their talents.
