Effat University Welcomes the Minister of Education for an Inspiring Discussion with Students

Under the patronage and presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Lolowah Al-Faisal, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and General Supervisor of Effat University, alongside Her Royal Highness Princess Haifa Al-Faisal, member of the Board of Founders and Trustees of Effat University, and Her Royal Highness Princess Noura bint Turki Al-Faisal, Assistant Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees, Effat University hosted the Minister of Education, His Excellency Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, during a special visit to meet with the university’s students.
The visit commenced with the national anthem and a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a welcoming speech delivered by Dr. Haifa Reda Jamal Al-Lail, President of Effat University. In her remarks, Dr. Haifa highlighted the significance of the minister's visit, stating: “Your Excellency's meeting with our students today is a privilege that underscores our shared commitment to enriching the student experience". She further emphasized the importance of this event, saying: “We hope this meeting sparks our students' curiosity, encouraging them to think critically and engage with the key challenges and priorities facing the Ministry of Education."
The program included a short film showcasing the university's achievements and vision, followed by a moving poetry recitation by Effat student Abdulrahman Al-Harithi. The highlight of the visit was an engaging panel discussion between the students and the Minister, during which His Excellency provided inspiring guidance and valuable insights, supporting students in overcoming academic challenges and shaping their future paths.
This visit reflects Effat University's enduring commitment to fostering open discussion with students and creating an enriching educational environment that nurtures future leaders. It also reinforces the Ministry of Education's continued dedication to advancing education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
