Effat University
hosts several annual scientific national and international conferences.
The university aims to provide a platform where academics, industry and
governmental bodies are encouraged to exchange ideas and knowledge,
resulting in a socioeconomic impact in both the local and wider
community.

Learning
and Technology Conference is an annual conference organized by the
Engineering College, which Effat University has been hosting since 2002.
The conference facilitates discussions and conversations on recent
technological developments underpinning best practices and innovations
in learning and teaching. This is a Scopus conference, sponsored by its
technical partner IEEE.
The Stu
dent
Research Forum is an annual internal forum at Effat, organized by the
Research and Consultancy Institute (RCI) in cooperation with Student
Affairs, Student Life and Effat Library. This conference serves as a
multi-disciplinary forum for the discussion and exchange of information
on the research and development projects undertaken by students from
Effat University. It is a s a multi-disciplinary event and open to
students from all undergraduate and graduate programs.
The
Psychology Symposium is a global scientific symposium, and it's the
first Positive Psychology Symposium of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia. The intention behind the symposium is to spread the knowledge of
enhancing human strengths and increasing optimal human functioning in
all domains of life. It, also, provide a unique platform for the
scientific and outside community to engage and to learn about
well-being, Islamic influences on positive psychology, and mindfulness
with an emphasis on Youth Engagement.
The C
ollege of
Architectural and Design at Effat university invites all subject
concerned scholars, academics, practitioners, policy makers and local
and international institution officials to share their experiences and thoughts
at the Memareyat International Conference. The Saudi government has
developed the Vision 2030 and the 2020 National Transformation Program
(NTP) in efforts to put the country on the path to sustainable economic
growth and development. Hence, the conference generally focuses on the
exploration of the multifaceted paradigms and avenues of the built-up
resiliency which are complex in nature and involve multiple- terms
effects.
The IFC conference,
held bi-annually, aims to create awareness, promotes the culture of
innovating and sharing and more importantly strengthens the network
between Gulf countries and other Muslim countries. Experts in Islamic
Finance discuss the development of Islamic Finance in the Kingdom and
internationally, explore Islamic entrepreneurial opportunities in the
region, and discuss alternative facilities for Sharia`h compliant
entrepreneurial projects.

The
general aim of this interdisciplinary conference is to highlight the
historic role played by translation in bridging the cultural and
knowledge gap among nations, past and present. Scholars in the fields of
language, literature, and translation are invited to explore, among
other things, the various aspects of this intercultural dialogue,
exchange of ideas, and the impact of translation on nation building.
