"OMAR KITTANEH received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in mathematics from AL Yarmouk University, Jordan, in 2000 and 2003, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in mathematical statistics from the University of Jordan, Jordan, in 2008. From 2008 to 2010, he was with the Basic Sciences Department, Petra University, Amman. From 2010 to 2011, he joined the Statistics Department, Tabuk University, as an Assistant Professor.
He is currently serving as an Associate Professor and the Director of the natural sciences, mathematics, and technology unit with Effat University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. His research interests include mathematical statistics, information theory, and censored data."
