QAA International Associate Membership
Effat University has become an international associate member of QAA (Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education), which was founded since 1997, is a leading UK-based quality agency that provide impartial regulatory and collaborative quality assurance and enhancement services. It supports universities and colleges in working with students and learners, governments, funders and regulatory bodies to evidence and enhance the excellent quality and high standards of the education they provide. In Fall 2025, Effat University has become an international associate member.
This valuable membership entitles Effat University faculty, staff and students to benefit from a schedule of events and valuable resources that support professional development in higher education. They can also become part of an international network to share best practices and have an opportunity to be part of a collaborative Enhancement Project, and enjoy the Member newsletter that gives insight on the educational sector.

CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG)
Effat University is also a member of the CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG), which is an affiliate of the Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), is an assembly/body of higher education experts from across the globe, committed to the promotion of quality higher education internationally. CIQG members include quality assurance agencies of post-secondary institutions that are recognized by their government (or any other official authority), higher education associations, government agencies, higher education consultants, and individuals who are vested in and committed to quality assurance in higher education. CIQG members are poised to collaborate for the purpose of addressing matters which may enhance, or compromise, quality assurance in higher education, worldwide.
