Dr. Akila Sarirete is Provost of Effat University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and an Associate Professor of Computer Science. She advances human-centered artificial intelligence by developing methods that improve learning, decision-making, and organizational knowledge sharing in real-world settings. Her research spans natural language processing, machine learning, knowledge management, sentiment analysis, smart cities, smart healthcare, and technology-enhanced learning. Recognized among the world's top 2% most-cited scientists, she is widely published and also leads strategic transformation and accreditation initiatives that strengthen academic quality and innovation.
