Dr. Mohammad Khalid is Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies at the General Education Department of Effat University. He holds a BA in Arabic and Islamic Studies (Nadwat al-‘Ulama), a Masters in Usul al-Hadith (Nadwat al-‘Ulama), a Masters in Islamic Studies (Portsmouth) And a PhD in Middle Eastern / Islamic Studies (Manchester).
Dr. Khalid has taught a variety of specialised and interdisciplinary undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Manchester and Effat Universities over the past ten years. Apart from his current teaching assignments, he also serves as the coordinator of Islamic Studies programme and is involved in several academic and administrative processes at the department and university levels
His research interest includes Middle Eastern history, modernity and educational epistemology. He serves as a member and advisor on several research and consultancy committees both at the University and internationally.
