Theme: Resilience & Psychological Wellbeing of Youth during the COVID-19 Pandemic

COVID-19 pandemic caused an unprecedented disruption in all walks of life at the global level. Psychological health and wellbeing of youth reportedly got impaired, too, especially among those who had pre-existing psychological health issues, exposing individual susceptibilities, emotional vulnerabilities and pre-existing fragilities. However, could the human potential of resilience help in enhancement of positive outlook and boost psychological health and wellbeing during the crisis? Emphasizing on the younger population, the general aim of the 3rd Biennial International Psychology Conference is to explore the associations between human resilience and psychological wellbeing during the extraordinary conditions caused by COVID-19 Pandemic and subsequent prolonged lockdowns. This conference will focus on various sub-topics encompassing the general theme of human resilience. The conference will provide an international platform to academics, researchers, mental health professionals, health specialists and students to share ideas, research outcomes and knowledge and information centering on the potential protective factor of resilience associated with the successful coping, and also deliberate on the existing and prospective psychoeducational and clinical interventions to boost the protecting factors of resilience, emotional intelligence, and other modifiable factors.
