​Instruments and Resources

The following instruments and resources are available for use by lab users:

  1. Artificial Sky/ Sky Dome to test the quality and quantity of lighting.

  2. Heliodon: to test the solar penetration and shadowing.

  3. Hand Held equipment and Data Loggers to measure the different factors affecting thermal performance for occupants inside buildings and outdoor.

  4. Micro Station This include solar radiation sensor, light sensor mounting bracket, light sensor level, rain shields, temperature and RH sensor, air pressure sensor, and Rain gauge.

  5. Indoor Monitoring Equipment A number of U12-013 Hobo Temp/RH/2 x Ext Data logger, Co2 monitoring equipment, TMC6-HD temperature sensor C/W 6 ft cable, HRB-temp, Hoboware Pro Software and Micro Ray Pro++ Infrared Thermometer.
