In recent times, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine learning (ML) have gained prevalence in the world of technology and learning such that they are projected to be the game-changers of the coming decade.   In the wake of the fourth industrial revolution, governments and businesses across the globe are also beginning to realize the seismic shift towards AI and ML.   Leading software companies such as Oracle, Salesforce, and SAP are even embedding machine learning into their apps.   Alongside the dominance of the technology giants Amazon, Google, and Microsoft, are major Asian global forces such as Alibaba and Baidu, and a plethora of AI-related startup companies have ambitions to become the next AI leaders.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 realizes the importance of AI and ML in the future of the nation, and its National Digitization Unit (NDU) is striving towards recognizing the Kingdom as a new tech hub for the modern Arab world.
