Payment Terms and Conditions
Payment Guidelines
- Tuition and applicable fees shall be assessed based on the number of registered credit hours.
- Students receiving scholarships, financial aid, or external sponsorship remain financially responsible for any charges not covered by the awarding entity. Students are responsible for coordinating with the Student Accounts Unit and the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid regarding application deadlines and award status to avoid placing a hold on their accounts due to late or unpaid balances.
Installment Payment Guidelines
- All students enrolled in diploma or developmental courses shall pay their full tuition fee upon registration.
- Effat University reserves the right to withhold student services, including Blackboard and Banner access, from students who do not complete their due payment as per their payment plan or if their accounts are in delinquent status.
- Effat University shall not waive tuition or fees for students who register on Banner but fail to attend their classes or stop for any reason without completing the clearance form and submitting it to the Registration Office.
- No installment payments shall be permitted for any diploma or development courses with a duration of five (5) weeks or less.
- For training programs with a duration of six (6) weeks or longer, students may be permitted to settle tuition fees through a two-installment payment plan, subject to approval by the Office of Student Financial Services (SFS).
First Installment:
Payable upon registration in the program. Final Installment:
Payable in the month following the first installment, according to the schedule issued by Student Financial Services.
- Failure to adhere to the approved installment schedule may result in financial or administrative holds in accordance with university policies.

Refund Policy
Refund for Developmental Courses
Refund Policy for Training Course
Registered trainees may withdraw from developmental (training) courses in accordance with the provisions set out below.
General Conditions
- To initiate withdrawal, trainees must submit an official Withdrawal Request Form, clearly stating the reason for withdrawal.
- No refund shall be issued unless the official withdrawal form is properly completed and submitted.
- Refund eligibility is determined based on the duration of the training course and the timing of the withdrawal, as specified below.
Courses with a Duration of 7 Days up to 9 Weeks
- Withdrawal at least seven (7) days prior to the course start date: A full refund of the training course fees shall be issued.
- Withdrawal on or after the course start date: No refund shall be issued.
Courses with a Duration of 10 Weeks and Less Than 15 Weeks
- Withdrawal at least seven (7) days prior to the course start date: A full refund of the total training course fees shall be issued.
- Withdrawal after the course has commenced: Refunds shall be applied as follows:
- Up to the end of the second (2nd) week: A 50% refund of the total training course fees shall be issued.
- During the third (3rd) week: A 25% refund of the total training course fees shall be issued.
- After the third (3rd) week: No refund shall be issued.
Course and Program Cancellation Policy
Effat University reserves the right to cancel any developmental or training program due to low enrollment, unforeseen circumstances, or other operational requirements.
- Registered participants shall be notified in a timely manner of any program cancellation.
- The University may offer an alternative program or session.
- If no alternative program is offered, participants shall be entitled to a full refund of all payments made.
- Training program registrations may not be transferred to another individual or to an alternative session.
- If a registered trainee is unable to attend the program, the trainee must notify the University immediately.
