Merit-based scholarships (academic, sports, cultural, and overseas students)

      • Donor-funded or restricted scholarships.

      • Program-specific or cohort-based scholarships.

      • Financial Aid.

Scholarship and financial aid coverage may be partial or full, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable scholarship agreement.

      Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Scholarship eligibility at Effat University is assessed based on established criteria, which may include:

      • Academic merit based on previous degrees.
      • Enrollment status and academic program.
      • Compliance with university academic and financial policies.
      • Any additional conditions specified by AASC or donors.

Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee approval, as awards are subject to availability and institutional review.

      Scholarship Application Process

Scholarships at Effat University are awarded based on a formal contractual agreement that remains valid until graduation, subject to the student's continued compliance with the stipulated academic and conduct requirements.

Effat University offers academic merit scholarships to new students based on the official documents submitted with their admission application. Eligible students who meet the scholarship requirements are required to sign an official scholarship contract with the University, which confirms the awarded scholarship and outlines the conditions for maintaining it throughout their studies. For other types of financial support, students are requested to apply through the Scholarship Office, and they will be notified of the outcome within two weeks.

The approved scholarship percentage remains fixed throughout the academic program, provided that the student continues to meet all contractual requirements. Failure to comply with the stated conditions, particularly the minimum required GPA, may result in the suspension or revocation of the scholarship, in accordance with the signed scholarship contract.

To support student retention and academic success, Effat University offers students whose scholarships have been revoked for non-compliance with academic requirements the opportunity to participate in the Scholarship Success Program.
