  • The Effat English Academy Program comprises eight different levels.

  • Students do not have to take the eight levels. They will be placed in the EEA Program levels based on their scores in the Linguaskill placement tests. Students may skip a level if they can achieve the required score for the level they wish to skip.

Payment and Refund Policy

​​Payment

​Students are required to pay their full tuition and fees upon registeration.

​Payment Plan

  • Effat Payment Plan provides students with the option to pay tution fees monthly. It is designed to relieve the pressure of lump-sum payments by allowing to spread payments over a period of months.
  • Depending on the date of your request, you may be eligible for up to three installments per semester. Payment plan installments will be requested to be settled at the end of each month.

​​Eligibility for Payment Plan​​

The student account must be in good standing to be eligible for an installment payment plan. If the student has past-due balances, he or she must contact Student Financial Services to explore alternative payment arangements.

  • First Installment: 

    Due Date: ​Start of the Pre-registration period and up to the 5th day of classes ​​
    Amount:​   ​​ 5,000 (Fixed Amount)

  • ​Second Installment:

    Due Date: After the add and drop period and no later than 30 days from the first day of the semester.
    Amount:​ ​​70% of the remaining tuition balance

  • Third Install​ment (Final):

    Due Date: Prior to the first day of the pre-registration period for the following semester as per the academic calendar ​​
    Amount:​ ​​30% of the remaining tuition balance​


Important Notification

  • ​Tuition is assessed on a per-credit-hour basis.
  • Student tuition is assessed each semester on the basis of the student's major and the number of credits registered.
  • Effat University reserves the right to withhold student services, including Blackboard and Banner access, from students who do not complete their due payment as per their payment plan or if their account status is delinquent.
  • Effat University cannot waive tuition or fees for students who register on Banner and fail to attend their classes or stop for any reason without completing the clearance form and submitting it to the registeration office.​

Refund Policy

(Also reported in the Effat University Academic Calendar)​

Effat University provides a structured refund policy for students who drop courses, withdraw from the university, or take a semester withdrawal. The details are as follows:

  • Refunds on courses dropped during the Add & Drop period:
    A student who drops courses during the 1st to 2nd week of the semester pays FULL tuition fees.
  • There is no refund for withdrawals from individual courses or more after the Add & Drop period.
  • New students: The SAR 5,000 registration fee paid by new students is non-refundable in the event of withdrawal during the first 2 weeks of the semester. After 2 weeks, the refund schedule below is applied.
  • Continuing students: Registered and enrolled continuing students who want to withdraw from the university or withdraw for a semester, during the 1st and 2nd week of the semester, are obligated to pay an administration fee of SAR 2500.​
  • In the event that a student withdraws from the university or withdraws for a semester, the following refund schedule will be applied: (Also reported in the Effat University Academic Calendar).​​
