Effat University Celebrates the Graduation of 215 Undergraduate and Master’s Students for the Class of 1446H A Vision for the Future Rooted in Pride, Innovation, and Excellence

February 2025 – Jeddah: Under the esteemed patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Lolowah Al Faisal, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and General Supervisor of Effat University, and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al Faisal, Founder and Member of the Board of Trustees of the King Faisal Foundation, and Chairman of the Board of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, Effat University hosted its 41st Commencement Ceremony on Tuesday, 26 Sha’ban 1446H, corresponding to February 25, 2025, at the university campus in Jeddah.
The ceremony commenced with the Saudi national anthem, followed by the academic procession of graduates. The ceremony was led by prominent media personality Yasser Al-Saghaf, who was the official host of the entire event.
Dr. Haifa Reda Jamal Al-Lail, President of Effat University, delivered an inspiring address, stating:
“Excellence today is not only about owning technology but about the ability to use it in innovative ways. Those who master the tools of the future are the ones who will shape it."
She emphasized the university's commitment to fostering innovation and encouraged graduates to continue learning and lead with vision. Speaking directly to the graduating class, she added:
“Whatever your next destination may be, my advice is to move forward with creativity and national passion. The future of our homeland is not a paved road—it is a future full of opportunities and challenges that may test you. Let that passion be the fuel that drives your journey."
His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al Faisal, the keynote speaker, addressed the graduates with a motivational message:
“Always remember, a great impact is not made overnight—it is built through persistence and unwavering determination. Draw wisdom from your national heritage, pride from your identity, and strength from knowledge. Begin today to leave your mark, and let it reflect the greatness of your spirit and ambition."
In a reflection of the university's forward-thinking approach and integration of modern technology, the ceremony featured a groundbreaking moment with the appearance of an AI-powered interactive hologram of a virtual graduate. This digital speaker delivered an inspiring message to fellow graduates, adding a futuristic touch that underscored the university's vision of blending technology with both education and celebration.
The ceremony continued with a heartfelt video dedicated to the families of the graduates, capturing the pride and emotion of the occasion. Two additional visual segments followed—one highlighting the journeys and achievements of previous graduates and how Effat University played a role in shaping their success, and another showcasing this year's graduating class, their academic and professional accomplishments, and how the university empowered them along the way.
The university also honored its sponsors and partners in recognition of their continued support of Effat's mission. The day stood as a testament to the achievements of Effat University's graduates and their readiness to embark on their professional paths with confidence and distinction.
In a long-anticipated moment, the graduates took the stage to receive their diplomas. The ceremony concluded with a joyful celebration as caps were tossed into the air, marking a bold step forward into the future.
