Effat University Celebrates the Graduation of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students Under the Theme “A Lasting Legacy”

February 2026 – Jeddah: Under the patronage and in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Lolowah Al Faisal, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and General Supervisor of Effat University, the University celebrated the graduation of its 42nd cohort of undergraduate and postgraduate students on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at its campus in Jeddah.
The ceremony commenced with the Saudi national anthem, followed by the academic procession of graduates. The program then unfolded through a series of segments reflecting the University's educational journey and enduring mission, aligned with this year's theme, “A Lasting Legacy."
Her Excellency Dr. Haifa Reda Jamal Al-Lail, President of Effat University, delivered a keynote address on this occasion, reaffirming the University's commitment to creating a sustainable impact through high-quality education that embraces the future, fosters innovation, and empowers graduates to contribute meaningfully to society. She also congratulated the graduates, praising their determination and the accomplishments they achieved throughout their academic journey, stating:
“What we celebrate today is not the conclusion of a journey, but the dawn of a new chapter of impact. You are the living answer to our nation's aspirations under Vision 2030, the driving force that will build, innovate, and advance — global in perspective, yet proudly and unwaveringly Saudi in spirit."
She added:
“In a nation leading an ambitious transformation under the Kingdom's Vision 2030, through its executive programs and major national projects, Effat University plays a vital role as a committed partner in achieving these goals."
The ceremony also featured a heartfelt video showcasing messages from the families of the graduates, expressing pride and joy in this significant milestone. Additional visual presentations highlighted the graduates' achievements and aspirations. In recognition of valued partnerships, sponsors were honored for their continued support of the University's mission and journey.
The event concluded with the long-awaited highlight, as graduates took the stage to receive their degrees, marking the beginning of a new chapter defined by ambition, responsibility, and a lasting legacy of impact.
