Effat University launched its International Student Cultural Festival and “World at Effat Souk” under the patronage of HRH Princess Lolowah Al-Faisal, in the presence of HRH Princess Noura bint Turki Al-Faisal; Dr. Haifa Reda Jamal Al-Lail, President of Effat University; and Dr. Maha Al-Sinan, Deputy Minister of Culture for Research and Cultural Heritage, alongside members of the university’s academic and administrative staff, Effat University Ambassadors, and festival visitors.

The opening ceremony featured a diverse cultural program highlighting the festival's spirit of cultural exchange and global connection. The ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by welcoming remarks emphasizing the importance of fostering intercultural dialogue and openness to the world. The program also featured a cultural fashion show celebrating the diversity of identities across the globe, as well as the launch of a festival song created in collaboration with singer Humood AlKhudher, reflecting Effat University's commitment to diversity, cultural exchange, and bringing communities together.

The festivities continued with live cultural performances, a patriotic poetry segment featuring students from Thamer International School, and “Little World at Effat," which presented dance performances inspired by cultures from around the world. Together, these performances celebrated the richness of cultural diversity while highlighting the values that unite people across borders.

In support of creativity and sustainability, the ceremony also featured the initiative “Pit Stop for the Planet: Inclusive Upcycling Design Challenge," organized in collaboration with Saudi Motorsport Company. The initiative aimed to channel student innovation into promoting sustainability and social responsibility.

The opening ceremony concluded with a recognition of the festival's sponsors, followed by the official opening of the cultural exhibition and “World at Effat Souk." Visitors were then invited to explore an engaging experience combining cultural discovery, entertainment, and humanitarian initiatives.
