Leading through Disruption: The New Global Economic Order

Wednesday 2nd & Thursday 3rd December 2026

22nd & 23rd of Jumada Al-Thani-1448 AH

Effat University, Jeddah, KSA

What’s new about the 2026 conference:

The 12th International Conference on Business & Finance 2026 will advance the conference’s established industry-academia platform by focusing on one of the most urgent questions facing governments, organizations, investors, and universities today: how to lead effectively through disruption. Under the theme "Leading through Disruption: The New Global Economic Order", the conference will examine the profound shifts reshaping global business, including geopolitical uncertainty, economic fragmentation, inflationary pressures, rapid digitalization, artificial intelligence, climate risk, supply chain instability, and changing workforce expectations.

The 2026 edition will move beyond describing disruption to exploring practical leadership responses. It will bring together policymakers, senior executives, entrepreneurs, investors, academics, researchers, and students to discuss how organizations can build resilience, redesign strategies, accelerate innovation, protect financial stability, and create sustainable value in a volatile global environment. The conference will also highlight Saudi Arabia’s growing role in the new global economic order through Vision 2030, economic diversification, logistics transformation, digital innovation, investment attraction, and human capital development.

Submissions to ICBF2026 must be original, unpublished research papers written in English, with a maximum length of 8,000 words. All papers will be subject to a blind peer-review process to ensure academic rigor and relevance to the conference theme. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and considered for publication in partner journals and book series.

We welcome contributions from academics, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, business professionals, and students across various disciplines, including finance, economics, supply chain, operations management, entrepreneurship, marketing, management, and accounting.
